Zlatko Vrljičak was born in 1955. He graduated at University of Zagreb Faculty of Textile Technology in 1977. He finished his Master studies in 1982. In 1997 at the Faculty of Textile Technology he acquired PhD. He is a renowned teacher and a full professor at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology. His areas of research interest are technological processes of design, manufacturing, analysis and control of knitted fabrics and CAD/CAM system in the production of knitwear. He has published more than 50 scientific papers, 50 professional papers, actively participated more than 50 times at international congresses across the Europe. He is the author of two papers published in the Technical Encyclopaedia, Croatia. Zlatko Vrljičak is a member of the Croatian Association of Textile Engineers, president of the Croatian Association of Knitting Technologist and a member of the International Federation of Knitting Technologist (IFKT).
