She was born on 5th of May 1978 in Pula, Croatia. She finished her PhD in 2011 at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology. Year 2014 she became assistant professor.
She is actively involved in teaching in the field of spinning and nonwoven technology as well as structure and properties of yarns and nonwovens.
Her scientific interests are related to research of structure and properties of yarns, nonwovens and nonwoven composites, raw material and structure impact on yarn and nonwoven properties including unconventional yarns, thermophysiological comfort of textile materials as well as characterization of nonwoven textiles pores and pore parameters. She published more than 16 scientific papers in journals and on international congresses, 8 professional papers, and mentor to 8 undergraduate and graduate students who defended their theses. She was researcher on the projects “Designing yarns and fabrics to high-quality products” and “Multifunctional technical nonwoven and knitted textiles, composites and yarns” founded by Ministry of Science, Education and Sport. Her memberships includes Croatian Standards Institute, Technical Committee TC 219 Floor coverings, from 2004 to 2016 as a member; Croatian Standards Institute, Technical Committee TC 219 Floor coverings, president from 2016 until now; Croatian Association of Leather and Footwear Manufacturers from 2014 until now; and Editorial Board of the journal Leather & Footwear from 2016 until now.
