Beti Rogina-Car was born on 22nd September of 1978 in Zagreb. She graduated at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Technology in 2001. From January 2002 to April 2003 she worked in Textile company “Heruc” as technologist. From 2007 she was employed in Department of Clothing Technology Faculty of Textile Technology University of Zagreb as Expert Associate. In April 2014 she got Ph.D. degree at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Textile Technology, with the theme “Microbial barrier properties of medical textiles” under the mentorship of Prof. emeritus D. Katović, Ph. D. She receive reward for „Outstanding Research paper Competiton“ TBIS 2015, Zadar, Croatia for work entitled „Postoperative Ladies Underwear With A Microbial Barrier”. Her research areas are medical textiles, microbial barrier properties of medical textiles, microbiological testing of textiles and clothing, antimicrobial protection. Year 2013 she has scientific specialisation at University of Zagreb, School of Medicine, Department of Medical Microbiology and Parasitology (from 7 January to 12 April). She actively participated in 1 project of Croatian Science Foundation, 3 bilateral projects and 4 short-term financial research supports. She published 3 book chapters, 7 original scientific papers, 17 scientific papers at international conferences, 6 professional and scientific papers at national conferences paper.
