In October 2018, prof. Antoneta Tomljenović and Ph.D. student Ivan Kraljević participated at 8^th International Textile Conference in Tirana, Albania. They presented papers Evaluation of usage quality and thermal comfort of male socks and Quality assessment of circural weft knitted fabrics for female lingerie.

The full papers have been published in conference proceeding of 8^th International Textile Conference.

In October 2018, Ph.D. student Franka Žuvela Bošnjak, participated at 9^th International Textile, Clothing & Design Conference in Dubrovnik, Croatia. She presented paper Influence of different tanning agents on thermal resistance of leather.

The full paper have been published in conference proceeding 9^th International Textile, Clothing & Design Conference; Magic World of Textiles.

In October 2018, prof. Zlatko Vrljičak, Ph.D. students Zeljka Pavlovic and Lozo Milos participated at 49th International Federation of Knitting Technologists Congress in Lodz, Poland. They presented papers The impact of yarns produced by different spinning processes and Tensile properties and compressibility of fine women’s hosiery. They made new collaboration with prof. Krzysztof Kowalski and his Ph.D. student Anita Ilska from Lodz University of Technology, Department of Knitting Technology and Textile Machines, for exchanging of ideas when measuring compressibility for compressional hosiery. The full papers have been published in conference proceeding 49th International Congress IFKT “Stepping into the future…”.

In September 2018, prof. Antoneta Tomljenović and student Andrijana Barišić participated at 22^nd International Conference on Printing, Design and Graphic Comunications in Senj, Croatia. She presented paper Assessment of Inkjet print fastness to artificial light on bovine leather.

The abstract have been published in Book of abstract of 22^nd International Conference on Printing, Design and Graphic Comunications.

In February 2018, Assist. Prof. Dragana Kopitar participated at Functional Textiles and Clothing Conference in New Delhi, India. She presented papers Comfort and microbial properties of different textile raw materials and structures and Thermal resistance of leather and membranes for summer desert military footwear under different climate conditions.

In June 2017, assist. prof. Sanja Ercegović Ražić participated at International Conference on Natural Fibers – Advanced Materials for a Greener World in Braga, Portugal, with lecture titled Plasma effect on the chemical structure of cellulose fabric for modification of some functional properties. Testing of thermophysiological properties of leather started. The measurements of heat and water vapor resistance are carrying out on the Sweating Guarded Hot Plate (Measurement Technology NW, USA) according to ISO 11092.

Knitting of the first samples has already started. Until now, six samples in basic rib fabrics construction were made on a double-bed circular knitting machine with a machine gauge of E17.
